About me
My name is Yoshiko. I am an expressive arts therapist in Oakland, California. Born to two crafts people, I started making things at a very early age. The arts have evolved to be a steadfast companion that have held me in both joyful and difficult times. My desire for connecting to something deeper eventually led me to living in the desert of Utah for several years, where I led rites of passage groups for youth. Now, in the urban landscape of Oakland, I hope to help others connect to the sacred within through making things, connecting to nature and in the creation of personal ceremony.
